Often understood as a playful instigator of desire, Amor here appears contemplative, embodying the fragile balance between innocence and longing, tenderness and inevitability.
 
Drawing inspiration from the softened palette of ancient frescoes, the painting is composed of thin, translucent layers of colour. These delicate hues dissolve into a poetic, blurred atmosphere.
