The hand-illustrated artwork of our ‘Serpente’ cushion is inspired by the murals of Villa Kerylos, a Greek-style villa built on the French Riviera by the Rothschild family. The snake motif in the centre is elegantly framed by a trompe l’oeil pergola adorned by St Jacob’s shells and Pompei style fish motifs in each corner. The ivory background has an antique stonewashed effect which gives a rustic flair to this versatile design.
